Honestly I’d be bamboozled if I had got married these days, there is so much choice. Kerry wasn’t, as a fashion designer for Australia’s Wish brand she new exactly what she wanted and when she found her 1970’s Vintage dress complete with Silk Fringe and vintage Gucci shoes in LA, she didn’t batter an eyelid, it was exactly what she always saw herself getting married in. I love a woman that knows what she wants.

Their ceremony took place at the Eskdale church in Napier, a sentimental place being close to where her family have always lived and a place Kerry and her friends use to act out getting married as 10 year olds. How cute is that.

Their reception was held at Grab Farm Winery, a no brainer as it is owned by family friends and the head chef one of Kerry’s closest friends. It was such an intimate affair, everyone hung out in the courtyard and there was ping pong to get the competitive juices flowing.

Awesome part of the day was shooting in Kerry’s granddads scarp yard. Kerry and Marcus really wanted something different and I was absolutely sweet with that because it was outside of the square which is always close to my heart.

But the best part of the day was seeing two families come together. Kerry is kiwi living in Australia and Marcus is Singaporean but grew up in Australia. It was so good witnessing the mesh of cultures coming together, they’re my favourite weddings.

Congrats Mr and Mrs Teo, you guys knocked it out of the park.
