Unique Wedding Venues Perth
Looking for a unique wedding venue in Perth, you’re in luck. Once upon a time, good Perth wedding venues were few and far between, now you are spoilt for choice. There’s everything from small intimate spaces like Guildhall in Fremantle or giant warehouse-type places like Fridays in West Leederville. There really is a plethora of choices.
Here’s a list to get you started.
Guildhall | Fremantle
Guildhall is a sweet little space. It’s small enough to feel intimate but has plenty of room not to feel squashed. The light is really pretty out the back and we are on the doorstep of Fremantle for some cool street pics. Biggest drawcard personally is the incredible service and the to-die-for food.
Navel Store | Fremantle
The Naval Store is cool but definitely needs some styling as it’s LARGE. Will work for big weddings with loads of people, but for smaller ones, you would need to find a way to section some space off so that your guests don’t get lost.
Como Treasury | Perth
It doesn’t get much more luxurious and decadent than the COMO Treasury. It has some of the best places to east inside its walls. Long Chim, Wildflower on the rooftop overlooking the Swan river, Petition Bar and Post Osteria and Bar. No matter whcin one, the food does not disappoint.
Fridays Studio | West Perth
Fridays Studio is an awesome warehouse venue which can be styled however you like. It’s a big space but can definitely work for smaller weddings with clever styling. Can be pretty chilly in the winter but a versatile place for a wedding because you can do everything in one place. Surrounded by cool little streets for photos too.
The Shorehouse | Cottesloe
The Shorehouse is a primo venue. It can cater for a large number either inside or out. You will impress guests with the food and sunset.
Alex Hotel | Perth City
The Alex Hotel is an Intimate rooftop spot with sweeping views of the city. If you want something low-key, 40 people max but has a great vibe this place is sweet.
Assembly Yard | Fremantle
A beauty nestled in the back streets of Fremantle. It’s a converted warehouse with a huge lawned area. It’s a blank canvas so you can decorate it as you like. With the hire of the Assembly Yard, you get the use of their old Mercedes. If you are lucky you will get the owner Sam to drive you. What a dude!
Emily Taylors | Fremantle
These guys don’t do many weddings but Emily Taylors is such a cool venue. They use the outdoor courtyard to set up long places. Food is absolutely divine!
Private Property/Backyard
Please don’t look past your own backyard or perhaps someone you know has a property. Seriously I can’t rate these types of weddings enough. Yes, there is definitely more work, but they are worth it.
